Desert Mountain residents won’t let a little heat get in the way of a good time. The Desert Mountain Art League has plenty of fun lined up for the upcoming art season. Below you’ll find some fun facts about the league, plus updates on upcoming events.
- 16 new classes will be introduced next year
- Instructors are professionally trained artists
- Desert Mountain residents are welcome to bring friends who do not live within the community
- Refreshments are served during classes
- Instructors may sell their own art during class
- Many of the classes already contain the supplies you will need
In addition, many of these instructors will be present at the Desert Mountain Art League luncheon that is set to take place on November 1, 2013 in the Cochise-Geronimo Clubhouse. The event features speaker Susan Potje, who is the co-owner of the Celebration of Fine Art. She will discuss her best advice for building a cohesive and meaningful art collection. This is a day for all residents of Desert Mountain Scottsdale to get together and share their appreciation of fine art.
