Desert Mountain Outlaw Golf Course
Outlaw opened in 2003, just outside the gates of Desert Mountain. It is located 3 minutes East of the guard gate, on Cave Creek Road. Outlaw is adjacent to the Tonto National Forest and has exceptional views of Pinnacle Peak, the McDowell Mountains, and Four Peaks.
Jack Nicklaus took advantage of the many subtle terrain features, including native washes, gently rolling hills and spectacular views. Nicklaus stated that his goal was “to take what nature gave us and try to enhance it”. It is very unique course at Desert Mountain. The style is reminiscent of a traditional Scottish links course. There are also no homes surrounding the course.
