Update on the 2025 Desert Mountain Membership Waitlist

Desert Mountain has maintained a healthy waitlist for memberships during the past several years. There is consistently more people who want a membership, than the number of memberships available. There are currently 45 applicants on the waitlist who have completed the application, vetting process, been approved by the Board, and are waiting for a Full Golf Membership to come available. Many have taken advantage of the ability to utilize a temporary Lifestyle membership, while waiting to acquire a Golf membership. The Lifestyle membership allows them to enjoy all of the clubhouses, dining facilities, spa, tennis, pickle ball, fitness and member events. They can take full advantage of everything that Desert Mountain has to offer, except for golf. It is a wonderful way to meet other members and start living the Desert Mountain lifestyle.

The amount of time it takes to get off the waitlist and acquire a membership fluctuates. Is is estimated that an approved applicant may wait approximately 3 months for a temporary Lifestyle membership and approximately 18 months for a Full Golf Membership. This is much better than a few years ago when the wait was projected to be over 2 years. The Club has significantly improved the situation for applicants by allowing the use of temporary Lifestyle memberships.

There are several clubs in Scottsdale where you can purchase a golf membership immediately through a real estate purchase. This is a possibility at Desert Mountain, Desert Highlands, Estancia, and Silverleaf. Contact me for more details.
