Tips for Spectators at the 2012 Schwab Cup at Desert Mountain

If you love golf and you live in North Scottsdale, then chances are, you already have your tickets to watch the Champions Tour Charles Schwab Cup event. The event is scheduled for November 1st through November 4th at Desert Mountain’s Cochise Course, and spectators are welcome.

If you’re planning on attending this special event, then there’s some things you should know as a spectator.

There are a variety of amenities available to you at the event. Desert Mountain Club wants you to have the most pleasant experience possible and give you the five-star service they are so well known for. There will be multiple concession stands, ATM machines, grandstand seating, multiple leader boards, a lost and found area, merchandise sales, and a shuttle service for handicapped spectators. These amenities are meant to help your experience at the Schwab cup be more enjoyable, and also to make sure you have easy access to basic needs throughout the tournament.

There are a few things you should know regarding prohibited items at the tournament. The club warns that there will be metal detectors at each gate to help insure the safety of the spectators and the players. Some of the items on the list of things which are not allowed, include coolers, radios, signs, banners, firearms, and knives. These items are banned from the property during the tournament, and should not be brought to the gate with you.
