Terravita is a fantastic option for golfers looking for a completely private club in North Scottsdale, at an affordable price. North Scottsdale is home to some of the priciest golf clubs in the West. Nestled among these prestigious clubs, Terravita boasts the same breathtaking views and is conveniently located near all the restaurants, resorts, and shopping in North Scottsdale. It is a vibrant community for all ages, complete with a private country club and golf club. A social membership is required for all homeowners, costing $12,000 at the time of home purchase, while the golf membership is separate and optional, priced at $85,000.

The country club has around 2600 members, but since most are seasonal, the club rarely feels crowded. Members come and go throughout the year, making the amenities easily accessible. February and March are the peak months, during which dining room reservations are recommended. The clubhouse underwent a significant renovation 8 years ago, featuring modern amenities. The club provides tennis, fitness facilities, pools, pickleball, a restaurant, and a bar. It has a lively atmosphere with over 60 different clubs for members to join. The outdoor dining area offers stunning views of the golf course and Black Mountain. There are numerous activities and parties hosted at the club, and there is no food or beverage minimum.

Golf memberships are available for both residents and non-residents. For non-residents, the golf membership covers the restaurant, bar, and all golf-related activities, but does not include events or other amenities. The golf course was renovated 4 years ago by Paul Smith. In May, Terravita reached its cap of 315 golf members, which includes up to 90 non-resident golf memberships, of which 65 have already been sold. The waitlist for golf membership is expected to be around 18 months to 2 years, with a waitlist fee of $21,250. Terravita provides a great advantage of limited access to golf, while on the waitlist. During your time on the Terravita waitlist you can participate in the men’s and ladies’ leagues enabling you to play golf once per week throughout the year. The waitlist has a 2 year sunset period so if anyone is on the waitlist for more than 2 years and decides to leave, the fee is fully refundable.
