Many people think of Desert Mountain as a seasonal club. However, the number of full-time residents is, however, increasing steadily. There are more people making Desert Mountain their primary residence than ever before. In fact, the Club has recently removed all references in their rules to “in-season” and “off-season” play on the courses. They are emphasizing the year round amenities more.

As of 2017, 43% of residents in Desert Mountain are classified as full-time. That means they spend at least 9+ months in Desert Mountain.

57% of residents in Desert Mountain are part-time or seasonal.

The summers are undeniably hot in Scottsdale, but the Club continues to operate with amenities and events all year round.
