Desert Mountain Food and Beverage Minimum
Desert Mountain Club charges a $2,500 per year minimum food and beverage fee for every membership. Members can reach their minimum through the use of Club restaurants, bars, beverage carts and catering. Desert Mountain has a wide variety of private restaurants offering both casual and fine dining. There are plenty of great ways to reach your minimum. Enjoy a casual breakfast overlooking the course at Renegade. Treat yourself to a gourmet dinner at Constantino’s with a fine wine from the 2,000 bottle wine cellar. You will enjoy all of the great dining options in Desert Mountain. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Do I have to meet a portion of the minimum each month?
No. It is an annual minimum and each membership will have until December 31 each year to meet the minimum.
2. When will I be billed for any food and beverage minimum charge I owe?
Any membership not having met the minimum as of December 31st, will be charged for the portion of the minimum not met during the prior year in the January Member invoice.
3. What charges will be credited to the food and beverage minimum requirement?
All food and beverages purchased at Club dining areas, restaurants or other food and beverage outlets, any Club catering food and beverage charges and any beverage cart charges will be counted toward meeting the minimum. Taxes or gratuities will not be credited toward the requirement. Fees for events, which include lunch, snacks or beverages (such as golf tournaments, special social events or meetings) will not be included. Food and beverage charges not included in the event fee charged to the Member’s account during such event will be included in meeting the requirement.
4. Are alcohol purchases at the Club credited to the minimum requirement?
Alcohol purchased for consumption on the Club premises will be credited toward the minimum. Purchases from the retail wine store do not count toward the minimum.
6. If I am a speculative buyer, builder or investor and do not use the Club, do I have to pay the food and beverage minimum?
The food and beverage minimum applies to all active membership accounts (exclusion applies only to 2nd and 3rd membership accounts with same designated member). Suspended accounts will be assessed same as current accounts.
8. If I place an order ‘to go’ does that go toward the minimum?
Yes it does, excluding tax and gratuity.
9. When I book an event through catering, does the Food and Beverage Minimum
apply?
Yes, all food and beverage charged to your membership account will be applied to the minimum. All taxes, gratuities, room rentals, labor, equipment rentals, and any other miscellaneous non-food and beverage charges do not apply.
10. When I sponsor a catering event at Desert Mountain, does that apply?
Yes, member sponsored catering functions must be posted to your individual Club member account in order for the minimum to apply
