Fire Burns Down Home in Desert Mountain Scottsdale

A large custom home in Desert Mountain Scottsdale burned to the ground on Monday night. It was a 12,000 square foot custom home under construction in the Village of Saguaro Forest. The home was estimated to be 80% completed at the time of the the fire. The fire was determined to be accidental, related to the construction of the home. The Desert Mountain home was a complete loss. No one was home at the time and no one was injured. Fires in Desert Mountain are very rare. Damage to the home was estimated to be approximately $3.5 Million.
