The Ranch is a private wilderness sanctuary within the Desert Mountain community, designed for members to enjoy the great outdoors. Spanning 33 acres across the Continental Mountains, it is situated in Chiricahua Village at the highest elevation in Desert Mountain.
The award-winning trail system is the centerpiece of The Ranch, featuring over 25 miles of exclusive hiking paths for Desert Mountain residents and members. An electronic, interactive trail map is available at the trailhead to aid hikers. There are 14 distinct trails, offering 36 different routes through the mountains. You can hike at your own pace or participate in one of the numerous group hikes, all of which are listed on the membership calendar and the club app. Trail bikes are permitted on the paths as well.
