Desert Mountain members are invited to compete in the 2014 Desert Mountain Mayhem Couple’s Golf Tournament, taking place February 28th-March 2nd. It will take place on the Renegade and Geronimo courses of Desert Mountain Golf Club.
This year’s event will kick off with a welcome reception held at the Jim Flick Performance Center on Friday, February 28th. The reception will last from 5-7 p.m. and will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a skills challenge for participants.
On Saturday, March 1st, teams will enjoy a continental breakfast from 7 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Round 1 begins with a 9 a.m. shotgun start on the Renegade golf course. After playing the front and back nine in two different better ball formats, the two teams with the best net scores and the two with the best gross scores will proceed to the divisional shootout. There will also be a putting contest and lunch buffet held that afternoon.
Play will continue the following day on the Geronimo course in a Scramble format for the best tee shot. To close out the event, a cocktail reception and awards dinner will take place on the Sunset Terrace from 5-8 p.m.
