Drum Roll Please… Desert Mountain Turnover Officially Approved

The Desert Mountain Club votes are in and the turnover has been officially approved. As of this morning they have received enough YES votes for the turnover to take effect as of January 1, 2011.

It is good to see that a majority of the Desert Mountain Members support the turnover. Out of 2,188 votes, 99.4% were yes votes. I think that this will be a very good thing for the club and am happy to see that the turnover details have been worked out.

For those members that have not placed their votes, the assessment of $16,500 is still due. Only existing members are responsible for this assessment. If you are considering purchasing property with a membership or decide to purchase a membership after January 1, 2011 you will avoid the turnover assessment but have all of the benefits of the new member owned club.
