Drilling at Desert Mountain

If you are in Desert Mountain next week, you may notice some large well drilling equipment on Parcel 19. This is the parcel of land, close to Pima and Cave Creek Roads, that the Club is selling to a developer for new homes. The drilling is expected to start on January 9th and last for approximately a week. It is part of the City of Scottsdale rezoning application for this parcel. The drilling of a test and monitoring well is expected to last for about a week. This will help the City of Scottsdale determine where to move the existing wells.

It is exciting to see the progress of the sale of Parcel 19. I know a lot of buyers will be interested in the brand new homes on this land. There has not been any large development of new homes in Desert Mountain in almost a decade. The only brand new homes in Desert Mountain currently are individual custom homes. Once the Developer M3 starts construction of the new homes it will be a big boost for the Club.
