Desert Mountain Security Works to Reduce Speeding

Anyone who has spent time in Desert Mountain has invariably seen Desert Mountain Security giving out speeding tickets on the parkway. The Desert Mountain HOA sent out an email last week to all homeowners about speeding on the Parkway. Apparently they aren’tmaking many friends with their speed traps. The HOA is adamant that the speeding tickets are being used as a deterrent to speeding. Their ultimate goal is to increase public safety, not increase revenues as many have surmised.

According to the HOA the traffic revenue represented less than 0.5% of Master Association revenues. The HOA also reminded homeowners that there was a speed-related fatality on Desert Mountain Parkway 18 months ago. We all hope this will be the last traffic death in Desert Mountain. Lets all keep the Desert Mountain Parkway safe by slowing down a bit and obeying the speed limit.
