The Desert Mountain Community Foundation (DMCF), is celebrating its one year anniversary. The DMCF’s current focus is to raise funds for their scholarship program. Full-time employees of Desert Mountain and their families are eligible for these scholarships based on financial need. So far, there’s been a great response with 15 employee family members who have already started the application process.
The DMCF also runs a general fund, which distributes to local charities whose main purposes are to enhance the Desert Mountain community and surrounding areas. The general fund has given grants to charities such as C.A.R.E., Caring Corps and Musicfest.
