Desert Mountain Residents Enjoy a Culinary Delight

Desert Mountain residents don’t have to go far to enjoy one delicious Labor Day weekend.

Phoenix Cooks will take place on August 31 at the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale. The Valley’s top chefs will get together for a one-day event that will wake up your taste buds and leave you satisfied. Chefs are working hard to prepare innovative and mouth-watering dishes for what is sure to be this year’s most celebrated culinary festival.

Tickets are now on sale and a general admission ticket ($75) will allow you to sample the food and alcohol the chefs have prepared. It also allows you to view the celebrity cooking competitions.

There are a variety of additional cooking classes and demonstrations available for guests to attend. Classes range from a guide on food and wine pairing to a how-to on making your own cheesecakes at home.

Proceeds will benefit the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
