Desert Mountain is an Award Winning Golf Community

Desert Mountain has won over 80 awards since the development first started twenty years ago.  This master-planned community has always aimed to be the best that Scottsdale has to offer.  They have not only received recognition for the residential community design as a whole but for the great clubhouses, Jack Nicklaus golf courses, retail shops, and their desert conservation.

In 2006 Luxury Golf and Travel named Desert Mountain as one of the Top 25 Private Golf Communities in America.  This was just after the Outlaw Golf Course was named one of the Top 40 America’s Best New Courses in 2005 by Golfweek, and Golf World Business named the golf shops in the Top 100 Private Golf Shops in the United States.

In 1997 the Award of Excellence was issued by the Urban Land Institute for the Recreational large-scale communities that Desert Mountain has to offer.  The Apache Cottages, an individual village within the community was awarded the Crescorda Award for Environmental Excellence by Valley Forward in 1996.
