Desert Mountain Introduces New Golf Membership

Desert Mountain just introduced a new membership category – the Junior Equity Golf Membership. The Junior Membership allows those under the age of 50 to take advantage of graduated fees while giving them access to Desert Mountain clubhouses and all six Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses.

The price for the membership depends on the applicant’s age. Members, ages 30 and younger pay $420 per month for the Junior Equity Golf Membership. Those ages 30-39 pay $840 a month and those 40-49 pay $1260 per month to sustain their membership. All members pay an initial fee of $5,000. The Club has a program to finance the initiation fee.

This new program is similar to the Junior Membership that the Troon Country Club has had for several years. Junior Memberships are a great way to bring new young members into a club. This helps to sustain the club on a long term basis and lower the average age of the members. This is one way to energize or revitalize a club with an older demographic.
