The zip code 85262, where Desert Mountain is located, was recently ranked by Redfin as the third hottest neighborhood in Arizona. This was out of a total of 368 neighborhoods so it is an impressive ranking, but no surprise to me. There is a huge amount of demand for homes in Desert Mountain and the surrounding North Scottsdale area. The homes are flying off the shelf as soon as they are listed. The best homes usually sell within just a few days and have multiple offers. Last year 32% of homes in 85262 sold for over list price. The prices have surged upwards since the beginning of the pandemic due to the increased demand. It seems everyone want to enjoy the Desert Mountain lifestyle.
