Desert Mountain HOA Vote Update

Desert Mountain owners are currently voting on two separate initiatives regarding updating the Desert Mountain HOA CC&Rs and the Desert Mountain Bylaws. Community Manager, Bill Overton, recently sent an email to lot and home owners with results of the ongoing CC&R and bylaw votes. There has been an overwhelming positive response to both. In only three weeks, there have been 829 “yes” votes and only 5 “no” votes on the amended CC&Rs and 682 “yes” votes and just 4 “no” votes on the amended Bylaws. This means that Desert Mountain is currently 2/3 of the way in getting these documents approved.  This HOA initiative was due to the current CC&Rs and Bylaws being sorely out of date with both current law and modern management practices. In addition they are confusing and conflicting in many areas.
