Desert Mountain Guest Policy Changes Today

Desert Mountain has instituted a new policy for all unaccompanied guests starting today. The new policy eliminates the old unaccompanied guest policy which allowed non-family guests to have access to club amenities without the member present. As of October 1st, 2018, only family guests can use unaccompanied guest passes.

“Family guests” include (1) parents; (2) grandparents; (3) children and their spouses; (4) siblings and their spouses; and (5) grandchildren and their spouses. This new policy is part of a continuing effort this year to make the club more exclusive. Previously this year, the board restricted the ability to rent homes, which also helps keep the club more private.

Please note that members are still welcome to bring any guest to the club when accompanied by the member. The new policy only refers to unaccompanied guests.
