Desert Mountain Club’s New Director of Golf

Desert Mountain has hired Mike Scully as the new Director of Golf. For the past 9 years, Mike was the Director of Golf at the renowned Medinah Country Club in the Chicago area. He was also previously an award winning PGA member. In 2008, Mike was the Illinois PGA Golf Professional of the year. He has extensive experience in managing private clubs and tournament events.

Mike oversaw the 39th annual Ryder Cup a few weeks ago and will soon begin his duties at Desert Mountain, just in time for the 2012 Charles Schwab Cup tournament. It is quite an exciting time for Mike to be in charge of two prestigious tournaments in a single year.
