Desert Mountain Club Final Tally of Turnover Votes

Desert Mountain Club has announced the final tally of all member votes for the turnover. In total, 1797 members cast ballots to vote. The remaining 236 members did not vote. Of those that voted, an overwhelming majority, 99.3% to be exact, voted YES for the turnover plan. This is a real testament to the positive support the members showed to the turnover plan. The members also put their money where their mouth is and actually stepped up to the plate to pay. It was predicted early on by the Advisory Board that at least 200 members would not pay the assessment. This has become an overestimate. The Club is happy to report that only 94 members have yet to pay their assessment or sign up for the payment plan. This is very good for the fiscal health of the club.

In Summary,
88.4% of eligible members cast a ballot
99.3% voted in favor of the turnover
95.4% have paid the assessment.
