Support Cancer Awareness During the C.A.R.E. Charity Event

Desert Mountain members are invited to take part in the 2014 C.A.R.E. Event, taking place March 10th-11th at the Cochise/Geronimo Clubhouse. Enjoy golf and fun-filled activities during this 2-day charity event, while doing your part to support cancer research and awareness. Below is a list of scheduled C.A.R.E. events:

All-Star Golf –March 10th
Choose between a C.A.R.E. Pro Am Tourney or Step-Out Scramble. There will be a shotgun start at 12 p.m. Members must register to participate in this golf event.

Starry Night Party –March 10th
After golf, members can enjoy cocktails and a delicious dinner under the stars. The party kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with drinks under the tent, awards and a raffle. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. Members must register for this event.

Star-Studded Boutique –March 11th
This exciting shopping event is open to all Desert Mountain members – no registration required! Stop by at any time between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Fashion Show & Luncheon –March 11th
Register for this dazzling fashion show event, starting at 12 p.m. at the clubhouse.

C.A.R.E. (Cancer Awareness Research & Education) is an organization dedicated to helping in the fight against breast and prostate cancer. It has provided support and funding to facilities such as the Scottsdale Healthcare Research Institute and the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale in their research of early stage breast and prostate cancer. Additionally, C.A.R.E. aims to spread awareness of cancer-related issues and treatment through forum discussions, seminars and organized charity events. Desert Mountain has proudly sponsored C.A.R.E. for 16 years, helping to raise over $4.2 million to benefit cancer research.
