Desert Highlands Increases Cost of Membership

Desert Highlands has increased the cost of  membership from $150,000 to $190,000 effective February 1st, 2025. The price adjustment is similar to other North Scottsdale golf clubs that have increased their membership fee recently. In comparison, Desert Mountain full golf membership is currently $225,000.

Desert Highlands is unique in that memberships are tied to the real estate. The membership automatically transfers with each home, so there is no waitlist for the community. Each homebuyer has full membership and access to the community as soon as the home closes escrow. There is no membership or vetting process. If you purchase a home, you are an automatic member.

Another distinguishing factor about the fees at Desert Highlands is that the $1925/month dues include both the club membership and HOA combined. In comparison, at Desert Mountain the full golf membership dues are $2354/month and HOA dues range from $300-800/month depending on the village.
