The waitlist for Desert Mountain Golf memberships is approximately 45 people and 15-16 months long. Desert Mountain Club is currently only taking applications from Desert Mountain homeowners. A wonderful new program at Desert Mountain allows people on the waitlist to start with a Lifestyle membership and then convert it later to a Golf membership. This allows new members much quicker access to the club. A Lifestyle member can use the restaurants, fitness center, spa, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, pools, events and activities. It can be as little as a 3 month wait to purchase a Lifestyle membership. Then once a Golf membership becomes available, approximately 12 months later, the member can convert to a Golf membership by paying the difference between the Lifestyle membership and Golf membership.
The quickest way to purchase a Golf membership in Desert Mountain is to acquire it during a real estate purchase. When you buy a home with a membership you can jump ahead of the entire waitlist and get an immediate membership. Many of the homes for sale in Desert Mountain offer to transfer their Golf membership to the purchaser of the home. The price of the Golf membership is additional, above the price of the home. The buyer acquires the membership on the day of closing and can start using all of the amenities at the club immediately.
Homes in Seven at Desert Mountain are treated differently. All homes in Seven are deed restricted to include a membership. Homeowners can choose any of the 3 membership options – Full Golf, Seven Golf or Lifestyle, when purchasing a home in Seven.
