Desert Mountain Club is committed to improving the healthy lifestyle of its members. The Sonoran Clubhouse fitness center was renovated and expanded in 2016. The improved fitness center is a five-star facility. There is an expanded training room with the most advanced cardiovascular and weight training equipment, plus five additional group exercise classrooms. Some of the fitness classes offered include Spin, Pilates, Step, Zumba, Sculpt & Stretch, Flexibility, Circuit Weight Training, Gentle Yoga and Tai Chi. Cardio training options include treadmills, step mills, cross-trainers, spinning, and recumbent bikes. There are individual TV monitors on the cardio equipment and views of the grass tennis court. If weight training is more your style there is a complete line of Cybex equipment and free weights.

The certified personal trainers at the Sonoran Spa & Fitness Center are highly educated professionals and experts in their field. They are available to work with you on a one-on-one basis and can design fitness programs for all ages and fitness levels. Fitness assessments and body composition testing are also available in an effort to help you reach your fitness goals. In case of injury, there are Physical Therapists on staff ready to assist.

The Sonoran Spa will delight you. Members can enjoy a wide variety of spa treatments including massages, manicures, pedicures, and a hair salon. The large facility has six rooms for massages or spa treatments, plus two manicure/pedicure stations and one hair station. There are individual men’s and ladies’ spa waiting rooms for premium privacy and relaxation.

The Sonoran Clubhouse is not just for exercising, it is also a great place to socialize with fellow members. There are multiple seating areas for people to gather and meet new friends. You can even grab a quick bite in the casual Cafe Verde next to the fitness center.
