Three mountain lions were sighted last week on the fourth hole of the Cochise Golf Course according to AZCentral.com. Residents of Desert Mountain are used to seeing wildlife such as bobcats, deer, javelina and coyotes, but this sighting is unheard of. Residents, Ty and Linda Borman, were lucky enough to capture photos.
According to the Arizona Game and Fish department there is a population of about 3,000 mountain lions in this area but are very rarely spotted because they live in rocky areas away from people.
What do you think about this sighting? Will there be more sightings like this? The mother and her young cubs looks so comfortable lounging along the course. I wonder if they will return.
