The North Scottsdale Real Estate market is unique. That is why I get frustrated when I read information in the media about the overall Phoenix Real Estate market conditions. When reporting stats and foreclosure numbers, they tend to group North Scottsdale, which includes Desert Mountain, into the Phoenix area as a whole. I have noticed that they don’t bother to emphasize the fact that different parts of the Phoenix Metropolitan area are dramatically different.
Scottsdale real estate operates on its own and is very different from the general Phoenix area. It is very much like Manahattan operates on its own in New York City and Beverly Hills operates on its own in the Los Angeles area.
The charts below illustrate a true picture of what the Scottsdale Luxury Homes market looks like. As you can see, foreclosures represent a very small portion of the luxury real estate market in this area.
I am a North Scottsdale Real Estate specialist and a majority of my clients are from outside of Arizona. This is why I feel it is so important to get the facts straight while the media keeps scaring people away from the Phoenix market with incorrect information.
