The Desert Mountain Homeowners Association has reported that they are in the planning stages of creating a Homeowner Services Department. Many master planned communities have established support services for their homeowners. This may include a property check service, home management, home maintenance, landscape maintenance, home security and handyman services to name a few. The benefits of having an on-site Homeowners Services Department is better pricing, faster response time and higher, more consistent quality of service. Currently, the Desert Mountain Concierge Department will provide referrals for all of these services to multiple outside vendors.
An on-site Homeowner Services Department would be a great benefit to Desert Mountain residents. Desert Highlands, as an example, is one such community that has a similar services department. Homeowners in that community can contract with their club to help take care of their home and the expense is simply added to their monthly club bill. At Desert Highlands, members can hire security, maids, landscapers and even have their car detailed all through the club. Sounds like something Desert Mountain should definitely set up.
