How to Jump Ahead of the Desert Mountain Waitlist

Desert Mountain Club currently has a waitlist of approximately 18-20 months for golf membership applications. There are two ways to completely jump ahead of the entire waitlist to purchase a golf membership.

1. Purchase a home in Desert Mountain that has a current membership available to transfer to the new owner. Approximately 1/3 of homes for sale in Desert Mountain, or close to 70 homes, are available with a golf membership.
2. Purchase any home in Seven in Desert Mountain. All residences in Seven are deed restricted to require a membership with the real estate.

In both of these scenarios, you can start to enjoy the Desert Mountain lifestyle immediately upon closing on your home.

The purchase of the home is subject to successful approval of the membership application, so there is no worry about buying a home and then not being approved for membership. The buyer completes the membership application either prior to or as soon as the home goes under contract. The membership application must be complete within 10 days of signing the real estate contract. The membership is paid for at the real estate closing on the settlement statement at the title company. If you purchase a home in Desert Mountain without a membership, you can apply to start with a social (lifestyle) membership while waiting for a golf membership. Once a golf membership becomes available, you can convert your social (lifestyle) membership into a full golf membership. This is a great way to enjoy dining and clubhouse privileges while waiting for golf.
