The upscale golf community of Desert Mountain offers its residents an abundance of seasonal and year-round recreational activities. Whether you’re the active type or prefer to sit down to a relaxing game of cards, Desert Mountain will appeal to you.
Desert Mountain residents can take advantage of Arizona’s warm weather, while staying fit, by joining the Cycling Club. This club offers mountain and road bike excursions that typically last between one to two hours. Bicyclists take in the beautiful views of the Tonto National Forest, the McDowell Mountain Regional Park or the Bartlett Lake loop depending on that day’s route.
For those that enjoy hunting, the Outdoor Club offers morning bird hunts. These take place about an hour north of the community. The hunts include releases of Pheasants and Chukars in both grass fields and high desert terrain. Members are invited to bring their own dogs on the hunt.
If Bridge is more your speed then you’re in luck. Desert Mountain’s Bridge, Canasta and Mah Jongg Clubs meet for weekly games. The games are held at various clubhouses on the property to ensure a fun and social vibe. All residents are welcome to participate in the weekly games.
