Desert Mountain’s Unique Hiking Trails

One of  Desert Mountain’s most popular amenities is their private hiking trails. It is the only country club in Scottsdale with miles of mountain hiking trails exclusively for residents. There are over 18 miles of private trails tucks behind the guard gates of Desert Mountain. The trails start at the Ranch trailhead and meander through the Continental Mountains. The trail system is the result of many donations and volunteers. It is a treasured part of Desert Mountain.

Some tips for hiking in Desert Mountain:

• Always hike with a buddy
• Bring plenty of water and stay hydrated
• If you see a coyote, javelina, mountain lion, bobcat or snake, do not approach it and keep a wide berth
• Bring your camera, you’ll want to take plenty of photos. The views are incredible!
