Cactus Cell Towers in Desert Mountain

The Desert Mountain Board of Directors has recently contracted with a communications company to install cactus cell towers within the community. Cell towers in the shape of cactus are quite common throughout North Scottsdale. The towers blend nicely into the environment while improving cell service. You have most likely driven by several without even knowing it. The newer towers really do look like saguaro cactus.

Four more cactus cell towers will be installed in Desert Mountain. This is in addition to other cactus cell towers that are already in the community including those on Desert Mountain Parkway. This will improve wireless connectivity in the community. I have personally never had any issue with getting a signal in Desert Mountain. I use AT&T and have always had service. However, when it comes to cell service, the more the better. Dish cellular is paying for the cell towers and will rent out space to other providers for the use of the towers to improve their service.
