At Desert Mountain Scottsdale there are 9 exceptional tennis courts to choose from at the Sonoran Clubhouse. Five of the courts are clay, three are hard courts and one is a lush green stadium court. Having all three surfaces at one tennis facility is very rare. This is why Desert Mountain is referred to as the “Wimbledon of the West” and can be enjoyed by members of all skill levels.

Junior tennis events will be held every Tuesday and Thursday, for all age groups, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM and will cost $20. On Saturdays there are clinics for two age groups. For children 5 to 9 years old the clinics will be held from 10 to 11 AM and will cost $20. For children 10 years and older, clinics will be held from 11 AM to 12:30 PM and will also be $20.
Men’s Open Play will be held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 9 to 11 AM. The Ladies’ Open Play will be held every Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 11 AM.
The Men’s Shootout will be from 1 PM to 3 PM every other Friday. It will be $10 to participate and the top three placed winners will win a percentage of the total pot.
The Ladies’ Clinics will be held every Monday while the open play is held Wednesdays from 9 AM to 11 AM.
Every Wednesday will be dedicated to all of the Desert Mountain tennis fans. Singles round robin will start at 3 PM and goes until 4:30 PM.
