Desert Mountain takes the condition of their golf courses very seriously. The golf Agronomy Plan for each of the six golf courses at Desert Mountain is highly regulated by a professional staff. The Agronomic Plan is presented annually to Desert Mountain members 
for feedback. Many of the staff are graduates of the Turf Program at North Carolina State University and they take great pride in providing members exceptional golf course conditions.
The fairway renovation project at Geronimo in Desert Mountain is scheduled for 2010. The project will be similar to the Apache Golf Course renovation that occurred recently. The results at Apache were considered phenomenal and many members were ecstatic with the results.
