The Scottsdale area experienced a heavy downpour of rain over the weekend. We are not used to rain storms like this and probably won’t see one again for quite awhile. It was an exciting experience for residents in the Scottsdale area.
At Desert Mountain, there was over 3 inches of rain and a microburst that added an additional 2.2 inches. This was all within 90 minutes. Unfortunately, the club was not ready for this so there will be some clean up and repairs required to get things back to normal for the members.
All courses have been shut down today but four of the six will reopen at 10am Tuesday, March 4th. Renegade and Geronimo will remain closed for a few days. The club is working hard in an effort to reopen these two courses on Thursday.
We are already back to the sunshine and gorgeous Scottsdale weather we are used to in March so the courses will be 100% in no time. If you’re planning a visit to the area and would like to view homes for sale, feel free to contact me.
