Desert Mountain Club Dues

Desert Mountain Club charges a $1500 per year minimum food and beverage fee for every Club Equity Membership and Non-Equity Club Membership.

· The food and beverage minimum will apply to all consumed food and beverage charges incurred in the dining rooms, beverage carts and catering. The minimum is not applicable to retail wine store purchases, golf tournament entry fees, catering non-food and beverage purchases, and related charges for taxes and gratuity.

· The food and beverage minimum applies to all active equity and non-equity golf and Club membership accounts (exclusion applies only to 2nd and 3rd membership accounts with same designated member). Suspended accounts will be assessed same as current accounts.

· The remaining food and beverage minimum balance will be reflected each month on both your Club monthly paper statement and on-line statement.

· Membership accounts that have not accrued $1,250 in food and beverage spending by 12/31/2012 will be charged for that portion of un-used food and beverage minimum on their December statement mailed the first week of January 2013.

· Transfers of food and beverage minimums between membership accounts will not be permitted.

Frequently asked Questions about the Food & Beverage Minimum

1. Do I have to meet a portion of the minimum each month?

Answer: No. It is an annual minimum and each membership will have until December 31 each year to meet the minimum.

2. When will I be billed for any food and beverage minimum charge I owe?

Answer: Any membership not having met the minimum as of December 31, will be charged for the portion of the minimum not met during the prior year in the January Member invoice. During the year in which the minimum must be met, a report of the amount of any remaining required minimum will be included in the Member's monthly statement for informational purposes but will not be a charge then due.

3. What charges will be credited to the food and beverage minimum requirement?

Answer: All food and beverages purchased at Club dining areas, restaurants or other food and beverage outlets, any Club catering food and beverage charges and any beverage cart charges will be counted toward meeting the minimum. Taxes or gratuities will not be credited toward the requirement. Fees for events, which include lunch, snacks or beverages (such as golf tournaments, special social events or meetings) will not be included. Food and beverage charges not included in the event fee charged to the Member's account during such event will be included in meeting the requirement.

4. Are alcohol purchases at the Club credited to the minimum requirement?

Answer: Alcohol purchased for consumption on the Club premises will be credited toward the minimum. Purchases from the retail wine store do not count toward the minimum.

5. If I have more than one Desert Mountain membership, will I be required to meet the minimum for each membership?

Answer: If you own more than one Desert Mountain membership, you will only be required to meet the minimum for the active membership. If any additional membership is activated, used or is authorized for use during the year, then such additional membership is subject to a minimum requirement being imposed.

6. If my guest uses a credit card in the restaurant, will this be applied to my minimum?

Answer: Yes, the food and beverage portion of the tickets will be applied and billed to your account, credited to your account and then billed through the guest's credit card.

7. If I am a speculative buyer, builder or investor and do not use the Club, do I have to pay the food and beverage minimum?

Answer: The food and beverage minimum applies to all active equity and non-equity golf and Club membership accounts (exclusion applies only to 2nd and 3rd membership accounts with same designated member). Suspended accounts will be assessed same as current accounts.

8. If I am out of the country for the year or multiple years and cannot use the Club, do I have to pay the food and beverage minimum?

Answer: The food and beverage minimum applies to all active equity and non-equity golf and Club membership accounts (exclusion applies only to 2nd and 3rd membership accounts with same designated member). Suspended accounts will be assessed same as current accounts.

9. If I place an order 'to go' does that go toward the minimum?

Answer: Yes it does, excluding tax and gratuity.

10. When I book an event through catering, does the Food and Beverage Minimum apply?

Answer: Yes, all food and beverage charged to your membership account will be applied to the minimum. All taxes, gratuities, room rentals, labor, equipment rentals, and any other miscellaneous non-food and beverage charges do not apply.

11. When I sponsor a catering event at Desert Mountain, does that apply?

Answer: Yes, member sponsored catering functions must be posted to your individual Club member account in order for the minimum to apply
