Desert Mountain Golf, The Ultimate Arizona Golf Experience
Desert Mountain is the only private club in the world to offer Six Private Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses.
All six courses were designed personally by Jack Nicklaus to provide a wide and varied golfing experience in a serene and natural setting.
All six courses are world class 18-hole courses. Each offers a different golf experience and were designed for players of all skill levels.
Enjoy playing a new course every day. The Cochise course was previously the site of The Countrywide Tradition, a major annual PGA Senior Tour event.
All courses and clubhouses are private, open only to members and their guests.
Desert Mountain also has some of the best practice facilities in Arizona with four practice ranges and many pitching, chipping and putting areas.
The PGA trained professional staff is available to help all members with their games.

The Renegade Course
The 7524 yard Renegade Course was the first of the six courses to open.
It is an extremely versatile course and is designed to allow players to choose their level of play.
Members can vary the course's set-up with two pin placements on every hole.
The white pin is typically set forward on the green while the golf pin is more difficult
and is set either on the same green or a different green altogether. Tee box alternatives include gold, blue, white and red.
Members select a tee box and pin placement before the round, thus selecting the degree of difficulty preferred.

Cochise Course
The 7019 yard Cochise Golf Course is the former location of the The Countrywide Tradition, a major annual PGA Senior Tour event and part of the Senior Slam.
The course offers members a true test of skill with rolling fairways surrounded by water and desert rock outcroppings.
The hallmark of the course is the par-3 seventh hole and par-5 fifteenth hole.
The double green for these 2 holes sits on a picturesque island, approached by two different directions.
Jack Nicklaus himself has called the Cochise Course "one of the most picturesque golf courses in the world".

Geronimo Course
The 7420 yard Geronimo course features large elevation changes, dramatic ravines and plateaus.
It is one of the most scenic courses at Desert Mountain. It has been described by Jack Nicklaus as "the strong looking course".
The first few holes deceptively lead the golfer to believe it is a gentle course but the back nine surely changes that impression.
The last hole is a 160-yard, par 3 that requires an exacting shot over a canyon to a two-tiered green between sand bunkers.

Apache Course
The Apache course is a 7211 yard gentle par-72 course.
It was designed as a links style course with gentle rolling fairways through the desert terrain.
Large lush greens appear as extensions of the fairways. The challenge of this course is the length and elevation changes.
Many members say it is important to master uphill or downhill shots.
The eighteenth hole features two separate greens with the more difficult green set into a hillside bordered by an unforgiving wash.
Apache is best known for its "disappearing green".
Built in the old Scottish tradition, the entire putting surface is not visible. It is a challenging, yet playable course for players of all skill levels.

Chiricahua Course
Chiricahua is a 7424 yard, par-72 course is dramatically elevated above other Desert Mountain courses.
It provides some of the best views within Desert Mountain. It flows through the Village of Saguaro Forest to the foot of the famous Constantino's restaurant.

Outlaw Course
This is the newest of the six Desert Mountain courses. The Outlaw course opened in 2003 to rave reviews for its traditional Scottish links style.
Nicklaus has said he was determined to "take what nature gave us and try to enhance it". It was designed around the desert landscape with gentle rolling hills,
washes and spectacular views. Outlaw does not have any homes built along it.
Members are encouraged to walk the course and play the way the game was meant to be.
