The Luxury Real Estate market is changing. Desert Mountain buyers often ask me how the luxury market is doing. I continue to tell them that the luxury home market is improving on a monthly basis. Listings are down and sales are up for homes priced $1 million and above. This is important news for anyone considering purchasing a luxury home. The tide is turning and the market is shifting. I have attached a graph below of the most recent market statistics of homes priced at $1 million and above in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
As you can see from the graph, the number of active listings has decreased from 1,822 to 1,679 while the number of luxury home sales has increased from 68 to 85 between May 1, 2010 and June 1, 2010.
