It is one of the most technologically advanced golf facilities in the US. One of the highlights of the center is the Swinguru Pro system for golf swing analysis. On this Day in 1996 Jack Nicklaus won the Senior PGA Tour The Tradition in Desert Mountain. The Tradition was held annually on the Cochise Course in Desert Mountain for many years. Jack was the first Senior PGA player to claim the same tournament four times. He won a $150,000 prize in 1996.

Everyone in Desert Mountain is looking forward to the return of the PGA to Cochise. Desert Mountain will host the 2012 Charles Schwab Cup this October. Tickets are currently on sale for the event.

The Desert Mountain Golf Performance Center will officially premier tomorrow, Saturday, March 31st! This is very exciting for Desert Mountain members as it adds a much appreciated amenity to the community. The kickoff party will be held from 1-5 pm. There will be food, drinks and tours of the facility.

This performance center has been in the works for quite awhile. It will feature a four-camera video motion analysis, 3-D motion capture, a launch monitor with 3-D doppler radar and much more. It is a great addition to this already fantastic golf community.

Each membership is allowed one Clubhouse/Member Pavilion badge at no charge along with one companion Clubhouse/Member Pavilion badge for only $75. These badges are good for the whole week. They allow access to the Cochise Clubhouse and the Member Pavilion that will be located on the 18th green of the Cochise Golf Course.
