The wonderful thing about Desert Mountain is that Club Members can leave their cash and credit cards at home. All you need is your member number to have all services and service fees charged to your individual account. This is very convenient for those that find it annoying to drag their wallets and purses around with them everywhere they go. Desert Mountain Club Members are not allowed to tip for food and beverage purchases within the community. The club has implemented this policy to prevent club employees from soliciting gratuity from members and their guests. There is an automatic 18% service charge added to each bill at the Desert Mountain clubhouse restaurants and grills that will be paid to the service personnel. Additional gratuity is not allowed above and beyond this service charge.
