Another Fun Outing for Desert Mountain Club Members

Desert Mountain Club members have another fun Saturday morning planned. This Saturday, July 16th, is the farmer’s market tour. Members will meet at Constantino’s at 8:30am and then ride to the farmer’s market held at Roadrunner park in Phoenix. While there they will have the opportunity to discuss all of the benefits of using naturally grown food when preparing meals. After selecting a nice basket of the freshest produce, members will head back to Constantino’s to prepare a delectable meal with the chefs.

It is $55 per person and reservations should be made through member services.

Desert Mountain Celebrates Father’s Day

Desert Mountain is celebrating Father’s Day at the Cochise/Geronimo Clubhouse this year. Members are encouraged to treat their fathers to a great breakfast between 7:00am to 12:30pm on Sunday, June 19, 2011. It’s only $18 per adult and $10 per child.

Come out and enjoy the great food, great views and great conversation. After breakfast you can even enjoy a relaxing round of golf. Sounds like an amazing way to spend a Sunday.

Desert Mountain Members are in Favor of the New Renegade Grill

The Desert Mountain Members have cast their votes and a vast majority are in favor of the new Renegade Grill as a casual dining option within the community. Desert Mountain Club has not yet drafted the specific plans of this grill but do intend on expanding the Renegade Clubhouse to incorporate a much more casual atmosphere for members and their guests. The idea is to create a comfortable place to meet for drinks and enjoy casual food options such as burgers, fries and wings.

There were over 1,000 votes received and of these 80% voted in favor of the grill. Thirty-six percent of the yes votes stated that they would visit the grill about once per week while residing in Desert Mountain. Only 6% of the 1,000 member votes will not visit the grill at all. About 79% of the members do not plan on decreasing their frequency at the other clubhouse restaurants once the Renegade Grill opens. The survey also found that it will be very important to include an outdoor patio area. Fifty-five percent of the voters want an outdoor area to enjoy the beautiful Scottsdale weather.

Desert Mountain Valentine’s Day Events are Approaching

Desert Mountain is hosting two separate dinners this Valentine’s Day. Members can choose from Cochise/Geronimo or Chiricahua for their evening out with that special someone.

There will be a Dinner and Dance held at the Cochise/Geronimo Clubhouse this Monday, February 14th. The dinner buffet will run from 6:30 to 8:30pm and there will be live entertainment from Mike & T from 6:30 to 9:30pm. It is only $65 per person.

The Chiricahua Clubhouse will be hosting a Wine Dinner for $95 per person. This dinner includes a Four-course meal by chef Balodimas with wine pairing. The reception starts at 6:30pm and dinner will begin at 7pm.

Desert Mountain Dining – Another Great Dinner at Constantino’s

Desert Mountain has some of the best dining options for its golf club members. Our team just enjoyed another great dinner at Constantino’s. Constantino’s is located at the Chiricahua Clubhouse in Saguaro Forest. I couldn’t ask for a better private dining experience.

The elegant, yet comfortable atmosphere makes this restaurant the perfect place to enjoy a group dinner, date night or any special occasion. My favorite part, aside from the great food, was the unbelievable city light views. There are multiple patio areas where the views can be enjoyed. Saguaro Forest is the highest village in Desert Mountain so you can imagine how much you can see from up there. The live music was a nice addition to the ambiance as well.

People tend to think that Desert Mountain Arizona is quiet in the summer. Although it’s not as busy as it is in the winter, people do come out to enjoy the beautiful summer nights that the high elevations of Saguaro Forest have to offer. As soon as the sun goes down the temperatures seem to drop by about 15 degrees.

Lunch at the Renegade Hide Out Sure to Please

I enjoyed lunch at the Renegade Hideout at the Desert Mountain Golf Club yesterday. I had forgotten how much I enjoy that place. We even sat at my favorite table by the window. I love how I can sit and enjoy a casual meal and watch the golfers on the practice range. Although the range was busy, everyone had enough space to be comfortable hitting the balls. The restaurant was busy as well but we still got a seat right away. My Asian chicken salad was fabulous. One thing that truly sets Desert Mountain apart from other clubs is the staff truly makes you feel important without feeling like you are in a snooty atmosphere. Oh and of course the scenery. There is not a bad view in the the whole community, day or night. If you aren’t looking at mountains or one of the six Jack Nicklaus golf courses during the day, you are enjoying city lights or a clear starry sky at night. Don’t you think Desert Mountains Members have it made?!

The Sonoran Cafe at Desert Mountain has expanded their already great menu to include several lighter, spa friendly items. These items include Greek, Chef and Apple Avocado Salads with non-fat and low carb dressing options. They have also added a hummus plate with fresh vegetables and pita bread. My favorite addition is the Sonoran Gyro. They are served on a warm grilled Pita filled with plenty of tasty healthy items.

The Desert Mountain Sonoran Clubhouse has also added poolside grilling for all of the spring break visitors. It sure has been busy poolside at Desert Mountain. With amenities like this, members can feel like they are at a resort year round.

Desert Mountain Private Restaurants to Delight Your Tastebuds

One of the best things about being a Desert Mountain Golf Club Member is having access to the many private restaurants. Desert Mountain Club has put a high priority on providing its members with the most exquisite culinary experiences possible.

One of my favorite restaurants is Constantino’s Restaurant at the Chiricahua Clubhouse in Saguaro Forest. Constantino’s is a fine dining experience featuring an Italian menu. Constantino’s is well known in Desert Mountain to have the most extensive wine selection. There is a two story wine tower with over 3000 bottles to choose from. Members can enjoy the beautiful Arizona weather on the balcony overlooking the Chiricahua golf course. In the evenings Constantino’s has some of the most impressive city light views within the entire private community.

The Apache Grill is my other favorite. It is a traditional steak house and piano bar with a much more casual atmosphere. This restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. Members really enjoy the views over the Apache Golf Course and the daily live entertainment.
